Gmail Triage Privacy Policy

Who this app is for

Gmail Triage is a personal tool built and used by Jermaine Watkins. It is used only with Google accounts that belong to Jermaine Watkins. It is not offered to other users.

What Google data it accesses

With my permission, the app accesses these Google services for my own accounts: Gmail (reading messages, applying labels, archiving, and creating draft replies), Google Calendar, Google Tasks, and Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides.

How the data is used

• To sort my incoming email, prepare a daily summary for me, draft replies for me to review, and track tasks and commitments.
• The app does not send email on its own. Every email is sent only after I review and approve it.
• The app runs on my own computer. Records it keeps (such as summaries and task lists) are stored locally on that computer.

Sharing with service providers

To sort and summarize, the app sends limited content (such as message senders, subjects, short excerpts and calendar event titles) to Anthropic's Claude AI service, which processes it and returns the result. It is not shared with anyone else. Google user data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Gmail Triage's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Keeping and deleting data

Locally stored data is kept only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, and can be deleted at any time. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
